Simon Goodyear lives in Warwickshire and is a life-
Simon decided that he would fulfil his father’s desire to write a biography of his
boyhood footballing hero, Gerry Hitchens, shortly after his father sadly passed away
in October 2008.
He had never attempted to write a book before but this didn’t stop
him dedicating his spare time to the cause and the result is s truly wonderful biography
of a ‘proper’ footballer, a rags-
Simon has since written and published two further books ‘The Bobby Thomson Story’ and ‘Memories Made in Aston’ which was released in October 2011. His new book, ‘Harry Moseley – Making It Happen’ is a very special book and a diersion from football. He has plans to continue writing so watch this space for news and updates and future releases
